Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy, #1)Feed by Mira Grant
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
Avg rating: 3.88

Goodreads Summary:
The year was 2014. We had cured cancer. We had beaten the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop.

The infection spread, virus blocks taking over bodies and minds with one, unstoppable command: FEED. Now, twenty years after the Rising, bloggers Georgia and Shaun Mason are on the trail of the biggest story of their lives - the dark conspiracy behind the infected.

The truth will get out, even if it kills them.

Actual Rating: 1.2

Sorry but no. I did not enjoy this book at ALL.

I'll admit I jumped into it without even reading the blurb. It was part of a challenge for a group I'm in. I don't do zombies so if I had read the blurb I probably wouldn't have read it. However, since it was voted on and had some pretty good ratings, I agreed.

It was page by page torture. Very information heavy and zero character development. Also, there was no romance aspect at all but the MC and her brother seemed to flirt with each other a lot. That really creeped me out.

At first I did like the blogger aspect and hoped that the story would outweigh the zombies. It did not. I definitely won't be reading the rest of this series.
