Goodreads Summary:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

My Rating: 4.7

Another Colleen Hoover 5 star!

This book was beautiful and I loved everything about it. The fact that all the confessions were REAL secrets sent in by REAL people and REAL art work has been made to represent these confessions made this book even more than it already was. The threads of truth weaved into this story makes it that much more real & intense. There were some really messed up ones! The characters were multi dimensional and likable. The story progressed at a quick pace and took roads I didn't see coming.

I fell in love right a long side Owen & Auburn. Even the secondary characters were well written. Everybody has their side of the story. Everybody struggles with different deamons.. I loved watching everything come together and watching the power hungry villain get what he deserved in the end.

The ending blew my mind. The way everything came full circle. Fate wrapped up in a pretty package with a bow on top. I couldn't have asked for a better ending!
